What the site is
Mineral & Steam compares your water with the water requirements each espresso machine's maker publishes. It doesn't assess drinking-water quality or safety. For that, please refer to your water supplier's annual water quality report. Nothing here is health advice, and we don't say that any water, filter or treatment keeps a warranty in force.
The water check's results depend on the values you give it and on makers' published guidance. It isn't a test of your water, doesn't certify water as safe, and doesn't guarantee protection from scale, corrosion or damage.
Accuracy
We quote makers and link the source, but makers change their guidance and we can make mistakes. Check the maker's own page before you buy or change how you treat your water.
Stores, prices and affiliate links
We don't sell, ship or service any product. Buy buttons take you to other companies' sites, and any purchase is between you and that store, under its terms. We don't promise any price or stock. We may earn a commission when you buy through links on our site; see the affiliate disclosure.
